A Home Information Pack (HIP) brings together a series of documents which are legally required for the sale of a property: an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC); Sale Statement; Standard Searches; evidence of title (proof that you own the property you are selling and have the right to sell the property); and other documents if your property is Freehold, Leasehold, Commonhold or a New Build.
In addition, the HIP may include optional (‘authorised’) documents: a Home Condition Report; Legal Summary; Home Use/Contents Forms…and other information you may wish to include.
